We don't remember this journalism crap taking place during the Nintendo-Sega-Sony Era.
Those were the good times.
Japanese console companies have the honor and respect to play by the rules. answer a best selling game with making not stealing a best selling high quality game.
Do you remember these companies blurting out sales figures every week during their time?
It was all about who had the better GAMES.

But now, we remember a gaming analyst referring to a big software company that is all about...

Making Money
Media Buyout
Made-Up Console War
Sales Figures
Stealing Exclusives

Who, may we ask, is this company that started all this mess?

Now that big software company has nothing more to steal. It robbed the whole industry dry... even itself has no big exclusive left and degraded its console to nothing more than a toy for kids.

Totally agree with this. The games journalism industry is almost as bad as the Hollywood Gossip industry.

floatingworld4977d ago

is a hotbed for the kind of things your detailing. The whole industry definitely needs to focus inward.

And while we're on the subject of shoddy journalism, shouldn't it be 'Games' Journalism? Or even 'Gaming' Journalism?

joeyda4977d ago

Why? Don't think there's a solid ruling on whether it's proper to call it games, game, gaming journalism... or even coverage, for that matter.

kesvalk4977d ago

well, they wouldn't do it if they didn't knew that a lot of ppl (fanboys) whould jump into it to argue who have the best console of the whole universe...
