148Apps:
Those of a younger generation may not remember Mr. Bill, the clay character featured in SNL shorts in the late ’70s. Those who do recall him remember a hilarious series of skits involving the unfortunate protagonist being repeatedly killed or maimed in various gruesome ways by Mr. Hands, often spurred on by the malicious Sluggo. Now gamers young and old can take control of Mr. Bill in his latest adventure, but unfortunately for him life hasn’t gotten any less painful.

AppVee - Mr. Bill Review

AppVee - Mr Bill was definitely one of those SNL skits that you either hated with all of your heart or found it absolutely hilarious. Unfortunately, just like most skits it eventually bit the dust and was cancelled. But thankfully they have decided to give Mr Bill and his family one more chance in the spotlight by offering a game for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

MacWorld: Mr. Bill Review

MacWorld: Like so many Americans, Mr. Bill’s family has fallen victim to the economic recession. Fortunately, the well-loved clay character from television’s Saturday Night Live has his own iPhone game (courtesy of Capcom Mobile) where players guide him through a few (painful!) employment opportunities.

WOI: Mr. Bill - Review

WOI: That 70's icon, Mr. Bill, now has his own video game for the iPhone and iPod touch. It's a bit of a cross between Angry Birds and Doodle Jump. Given the popularity of those two games, it's no surprise that someone would try to duplicate them with a familiar character.
