Ubisoft has continued to show its strong Nintendo support by announcing yet another new title for the DS, called 'Miami Nights: Singles in the City'. Described as a 'social simulation', the game is being worked on by Gameloft and uses the stylus and wireless communication features to take a definite adult approach to a 'The Sims' style game, giving players a wide palate of choice and mini-games to experience in bringing up their virtual creation. The game is due out in November, 2007.
Via IGN:
"In Miami Nights: Singles in the City, available across EMEA territories on 15th February, what will be your own path to fame and glory? Will you seduce? Will you cheat? Will you lie? Will you steal? The choice is yours: climb the stairs of success with respect and caution, or do only what is best for you and your own good."
"An utterly boring 'lifestyle simulation' game."
"Miami Nights simply isn't fun. It's highly repetitive, as the entire game is 'get money, spend money.' Character interactions don't feel realistic in any regard. Despite the clear effort spent on the graphical end the game can't be recommended to anyone."
