this video does not do it justice .. you guys had to be there ... that game is gonna be sick .. i think the only problem that may turn some people off is the simplicity of the controls [deep fighter lovers need not apply] but if you are a fan of the series it is a must buy

Also, you can tell the guy playing Naruto this time knows how to play the game very well.

This is how many anime action games should have been done. Ninja Storm was good but this seems like a big leap in seamless anime fighting. DBZ, Bleach, all those games should pull out a pen and paper, and take some notes.

I hope they dont show naruto winning on his own. Naruto never beat pain on his own. Pain just wore his self out from fighting everyone and died after naruto's long excruciating talk.

He fought kakashi, choji and his dad, random ninjas, konahamaru and iruka, destroyed the leaf village in 1 blast, fought some huge toads, battled naruto, fought the nine tails(8 tails form), and then naruto talks to him and he dies.

Also you have to take into account that pein was not allowed kill Naruto, he was fighting to capture not kill.

"pains way of bringing peace was lets say "negative and dark" and narutos way of bringing peace is "positive" and somehow pain gets it... n trust him n believe in him" so there you have it....

i suggest if you watch an anime... make sure you really "LISTEN" to what they are saying...

So you're saying that Naruto didn't actually physically beat ALL of the six paths of Pain. You need to go back and watch closely, my young padawan. He crushed all of them and then confronted Nagato on his own, no help from the rest of the leaf. Even after everyone fought and died, all of the pains were still alive and kicking.

And you missed the point of the final confrontation with Nagato. They could have fought and with the ways things were going, Naruto probably would have still beat Nagato and the lady ninja. But he wanted to do away with the hate so he chose not to seek 'revenge'. Nagato recognized him as the one that was prophesized to bring about change in the ninja world so he sacrificed himself to bring everyone back that was killed and trusted Naruto to bring about true peace. Long story, short.

You forgot about the nine tails part which naruto had no control over. So he also fought a almost full powered nine tailed fox.

I didn't forget about the "Eight" tails emerging. I wasn't giving a blow-by-blow account of the battle. It was inaccurate. Naruto DID beat the 6 Paths of Pain with his own strength. Sure, the Eight-tails emerged and fought the last Pain (Yahiko) but Naruto reverted to his own form and still beat a strong Yahiko with a rasengan. And then he 'beat' Nagato, not with fists but with reasoning, even though Nagato tried to forcibly subdue Naruto and failed. Naruto still had enough power to defeat Nagato and Konan but he chose to follow a different path than revenge.

The fact is that Pain wiped the Hidden Leaf village almost off the map and nobody could stop him. Naruto came defeated Pain and everyone recognized that if it wasn't for Naruto, everyone would still be dead.

Of course everyone's contribution wasn't worthless but when all was said and done, it only amounted to a little distraction until Naruto showed up. You said they all contributed in 'beating' Pain. Whatever damage they did, whichever Pain they 'killed', was rectified and revived before Naruto came on the scene. So when Naruto arrived, he faced off against 5 fully-recovered Pains (Yahiko still had to recharge after doing Almighty Push), and he beat them soundly, using his own strategy and power. Your original comments made it sound like all Naruto did was clean up the leftovers.

Even the leaf ninjas themselves were in awe at the success that Naruto was having when they were struggling so much...that's why Sakura was calling out for Naruto when she first saw the damage to the village and everyone dead. She knew that he would have the power to defeat Pain, even after everyone else failed.

Watch from episode 163 again. They all stayed out of Naruto's way when the logical course of action against a powerful opponent would have been to gang up on them. But they knew that they would just be getting in his way, except for Hinata who was ready to sacrifice herself when Yahiko had Naruto captured. But that was because she loved him :)
