I picked Borderlands up during the last Steam sale for $10, and then got all of the DLC for another $10 during the same sale.

i mean, don't get me wrong, i played the crap out of single player, but MP was horrible if you wanted to talk to your friends.

... the reason I never picked this up was because of all the DLC.

Now, with the GOTY-edition coming out in a few weeks, which will hopefully have all the DLC included, I might consider buying it...

I don't even know why they're bothering to release this 'greatest hits' version, but I do feel sad for the poor saps picking this up, and seeing the GOTY edition in the shop a few weeks later.

Hopefully Gearbox won't be as stupid as to not making a sequel. Best sleeper hit i've ever played! Just give us a larger level of exploration, new vehicles (or maybe the removal of vehicles, idk, but they ruined some aspects of the game), new enemies and a fresh lick of that already gleaming paint and....voila:Borderlands 2!

They've never fixed online microphone and freezing issues on the PS3. The game worked fine until their first update screwed the pooch.

i sold my copy,got to lvl 22 and didn't really care for the game,fallout 3 is much better imo,the co-op is probably the best thing about borderlands,but it wasn't my cup of tea.

Man I hope they iron out all of the bugs in the game before the greatest hits game comes out. I don't know how it is on 360, but on ps3 the voice chat quality is HORRIBLE and breaks up constantly. The game also lags like crazy online.
And for some reason, after playing my game for a few months, I can't play it for any longer than 5 minutes without it crashing my ps3. I've tried deleting my game data (including the zombie dlc), and even all of my saves. Nothing seems to help. The game is completely unplayable for me now.
