Yeah, I want buy it, I mean I already played and beat it, so I don't see any point.

Cloudberry4988d ago

.
UBISOFT, please fix the glitches!!! >___>

WildArmed4988d ago

Yeah I might rebuy it
Not only where the one of the best h&s franchise on the ps2..
but it also brings back great memories :)

ofc, 3 plats is a bonus :D

But for now, I'm only getting sly HD n S&C+Ico HD since I didn't play them during the ps2 era.

I did play the GoW and PoP trilogy so those will have to wait.

(I'm waiting for a DMC triology remastery too! Even though I've played it, I'll buy it.. this was my FAVOURITE H&S franchise on ps2)

Dragun6194988d ago

I never fully played the Prince of Persia or Splinter Cell series, So I would buy it for the right price. I hear good things from the series especially Chaos Theory. So there is a point, especially for the new generation or the people that passed this up before but want to get it now, I mean three platinums for $40 can easily grab people's attention.

itani4988d ago

Now we're actually rewinding time.

princejb1344988d ago

great collection
day 1 purchase
this series is way better than the prince of persia they have now on ps3 and 360

princejb1344988d ago

so many excellent collections
i would like a power stone collection thats not in the psp with online playability
that would be awesome

Gilliand4988d ago

If true, I'll pick this up. I always hear about how good the PoP series used to be and the only one I played was the cell shaded one.

I really like these HD collections, I never played many of the games from last gen but these are allowing me to replay them with ease.

Sands of Time is within my top 5 favourite games ever. An absolute masterpiece of a game that has aged well.
I will gladly buy the collection to experience the SOT saga again! (this time in HD)

mjolliffe4988d ago

The Shopto listing marks it 3D as well, so it gets better for (a small majority of) people!

WildArmed4988d ago

Though I found Warrior within to be better :)
I lwuved the sand wraith.. (i'm sure the ppl who havn't played it dont know what i'm talking about!)
But you will!!!

DaPrintz4988d ago

You mean The Dahaka. And yeah it was badass. Easily the best in the trilogy

WildArmed4988d ago

No I mean the sand wraith.
Wiki it if you dont remember.
I dont want to post any spoilers here.

SpaceSquirrel4988d ago (Edited 4988d ago )

Haven't played any of the three. So this is great news.

JohnApocalypse4988d ago

I hope they release the Splinter Cell collection

postofficebuddy4988d ago

Yeah, I'm looking forward to that too. Although I think the current rumor has it as a 2011 release unfortunately. Then again this quarter is stacked enough as it is.

rdgneoz34988d ago

Too many good games coming out in the next two months alone, they should release it during the gap between games next year.

sinncross4988d ago

If they're doing SC collection I hope Conviction gets a PS3 release.

zak94ma4988d ago

Ubisoft ? never ask ubisoft such a question again keep them with their stupid thing so they don't screw the games like they did with SCC

Greatness Comes in Threes: Best Trilogies in Gaming - Part Four

Phil writes, "It's purely coincidental (though I'd love to take credit for the timing) that on the third day of the work week of this third month of the year that we see a new edition of Greatness Comes in Threes, where SuperPhillip Central looks at the best trio of related games-- some looser with the definition of "trilogy" than others.

The trilogy-- in movies it's a common occurrence with hugely successful blockbusters whether it's Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Toy Story, or Back to the Future. Trilogies are also pretty common in gaming as well, but at the same token, an actual good trilogy is a completely different matter. This article series details some of the very best trilogies that our hobby and industry have been able to create in its much shorter lifespan."

Jak trilogy will always be my favorite. Jak 3 is one of the best games ever made. It's a good story with lots of untold lore. Alot of variety in gameplay. Humorous.

Phil322609d ago

Made sure to cover Jak in a previous installment! While I didn't like Naughty Dog turning the series into a tryhard edgy series, the quality of the games gameplay-wise didn't really suffer. I do prefer Ratchet, though! :)

I still think that Metroid Prime trilogy is the best one

14 Games That Made The Worst Transition From 2D To 3D

Not every game made the transition to 3D as smoothly as Mario or Zelda. Here are 15 games that made the worst transition from 2D to 3D.

KwietStorm_BLM2797d ago

Why do you have a screen from Street Fighter X Tekken for Street Fighter EX?

gamerben2797d ago

Iirc you couldn't "move in a circle" in EX like the article states either

gamerben2797d ago

Lmao also, worms 3d wasn't even a first person shooter at all either... It was turned based like the original games... Someone didn't research

KwietStorm_BLM2797d ago

Yet I have 2 disagrees lol this site never ceases to amaze.

zodiac9092797d ago

@KwietStorm Don't you know this is not "News 4 Gamers" anymore, it's "Negativity 4 Gamers." A Place where if you say something complementary or ask for some helpful advice, no one gives 2 shits. But AS SOON AS you say something opinionated or controversial, get ready for a riot, mass homocide, and a lynchin' bro.

zodiac9092797d ago (Edited 2797d ago )

Uhh summa lumma dooma lumma

WheatBread2797d ago

The SF EX games were actually pretty good.

KwietStorm_BLM2797d ago

They didn't deserve to be printed on disc.

Bass_fisherman2796d ago (Edited 2796d ago )

This article could be made 10 years ago lmao

KaoSouL2796d ago

I actually played the Street Fighter EX games way more than I'll ever play SFV.

Heroes Week – Who Would We Put On Our 3 Hero Team?

Twinfinite writes: "What’s that you say? Heroes Week finished yesterday? I don’t care. I’M GOING ROGUE AND YOU CAN’T STOP ME! Anyways, back to business. We’ve been covering every aspect of heroes all week except for the one I consider most important: their ability to come together as a team to accomplish the impossible. Everyone from the Avengers to the crew of the Normandy, all are as unstoppable as they are because they work together to get the job done. So I asked our wonderful staff to put together their own individual teams from every hero in gaming for a task they chose. Here are the teams the crazy people I work with decided to put together."

3 heroes I want to see team up? Captain America, Archer and Ash (Evil Dead series). The Dynamic and overall badassery would be awesome!
