Netflix PS3 App coming to US in October

I am wondering what the Diskless version offers as opposed to the Disk based app that we have now in the states. I know that the Hulu Plus app allows you to browse the XMB, check for messages and send them while watching where as the Netflix app can't do that since it is acting like it is a DVD so when you hit the PS button it asks if you would like to exit the video. I was hoping that once the Netflix app hits the XMB it might work differently in that aspect.

I've recently had to give up a certain activity which greatly decreases the ease and amount of tv shows and movies I am able to watch.

For those that use Netflix, tell me, is the streaming selection very good? I'm thinking about getting it, but I don't want to pay for it if I'm not going to be able to watch at least 90% of what I want to. Does it have things like British sitcoms (ex. peep show, A bit of Fry and Laurie, Black Adder, Father Ted, and more than that?), does it have regularly updated tv shows with episodes that come out the same day or at the very least, the day after they air, like Dexter, Weeds, Bored to Death?

Is the service worth it?

If you like old/classic movies, indie movies, or foreign movies, you'll like Netflix instant streaming. If you are into the latest Hollywood blockbuster types, then you'll be disappointed, they only get a new movie in that category on the rare occasion it seems. They have practically all of the Criterion Collection movies on instant streaming, so if you're a "film buff" type then you'd get a lot out of Netflix.

Im sure its not a playstation plus exclusive either meaning its good on the good old regular Psn service at no extra cost.

Psn is making its stride, its slow, but its improving.

Now that the 3D madness is already apon us, sony could focus on bringing more significant features instead.

Now how about a better browser or..support for third party browsers.

And some voice masseging and yes cross chat wouldnt hurt anyone. Once these are implemented than its a done deal pretty much, free at that.
