Nordcurrent has today announced that its latest PlayStation Portable (PSP) release, 101-in-1 Megamix, is now available for download exclusively on Playstation Network in North America and Europe, priced at $14.99 and €14.99 respectively. 101-in-1 Megamix is a collection of 101 games of varying genres for up to two players, and is perfect for players of all ages.
Ahead of the launch of the upcoming 101-in-1 Megamix Sports for Nintendo DS, Nordcurrent have seen fit to adapt their successful game series to the PlayStation Portable (PSP), with 101-in-1 Megamix now available to download from the PlayStation Store. Offered at a reasonable price and wrapped in a diminutive package, allowing it to be stored on a modest capacity Memory Stick Pro Duo for older PSP models, is respectfully competitive in an under represented genre on the format.

It’s genuinely exciting not knowing what type of game to expect next, and Nordcurrent’s zany presentation style only adds to the intrigue. The problem with 101-In-1 Megamix’s collection is that none of the games stick. A neat progression system pushes you through each of the minigames, but once you’ve beaten the game’s score target there’s very little reason to replay. That can make the package surprisingly short-lived, despite its impressive title."
