Samurai Warriors 3 event in NYC this Thursday

New York-Tokyo is extending a special invitation to anyone interested in their "NYT Game Night" this coming Thursday. On Thursday, September 23, 2010, NYT is heading over to Fat Buddha (which was formerly known as Forbidden City until it came under new management) from 7 - 11 p.m. They're having a special Nintendo event, focusing on Samurai Warriors 3. Interested players will have a chance to preview the game four days before it hits shelves.

NWR writes: "Samurai Warriors 3 is the third installment in the Samurai Warriors series and the first to be released on a Nintendo platform. Even though Tecmo Koei and Omega Force have handled the distribution and development of past games, Nintendo got its hands on Samurai Warriors 3 and published the game in territories outside of Japan. For those expecting the game to be at the same standard as many of Nintendo's other games, they will be disappointed to hear that Samurai Warriors 3 is a horrid entry into the Wii's ever-growing library of games."

To sum it up for you very briefly, Samurai Warriors 3 is Samurai Warriors 2, but with a crappier framerate and inferior voice-acting.
