James Bond hasn't been exactly critical or commercial darling of late. With the death of MGM, it's not likely that we will see Mr. Bond return to films anytime soon. Which is a shame! Bond is one of those everlasting figures in entertainment. Thankfully, not is all lost, as Activision is bringing the man back with Blood Stone, a strong representation of the more-suave men around. Bizarre Creations, the team behind Project Gotham Racing and Geometry Wars, is leading this one up, and it's all coming together for a very James Bond-esque experience. Blood Stone is indicative of the James Bond that Daniel Craig brought to the franchise, that is, a more realistic, much more gritty Bond. Hands-off, I was shown the shooting elements of the game.
GF365: "Here are our picks for the ten most underrated third-person shooters that you might not have played before or even known about."
Actually great list TBH I agree with all 10
I hope one day we get some remakes for the following
The saboteur(with a proper remake and quality of life features this game could be great)
Scarface world is yours
Binary domain ( such a great game with great story)
GUN(this needs a remake)
Space marine 40k(such fun time)
Would also like to suggest adding the mercenary series even the 2nd game which is disliked by many is a fun time
I recently finished Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine and found it to be very enjoyable.
The game respected the lore and the gameplay was quite decent.
The color palette was a bit underwhelming (backdrops and setting) and recycled but I think that it deserved better.
Here's hoping for an amazing sequel
Jerry from BagoGames says, "Everyone has fond memories of Goldeneye and wishes for the Bond games of yesteryear: does Blood Stone have a chance of taking down the top contender?"
I remember this being pretty damn good. I might replay it soon on PS3.
Who needs backwards compatibility? 😏
Jerry from BagoGames says, "Another week filled with games has gone by. This is what we're playing on humpday!"
I give mad props to Bizarre Creations so am looking forward to this one, great preview!
I'll take another bond game anyway, especially considering the next film got cancelled....
I love Bond movies and games. Its a shame the movie was cancelled... who knows? Maybe this game (coupled with Goldeneye for the Wii) will bring Bond back to life! I hope this is JUST as good as Everything or Nothing... if not better!
seems to be another underachieving game from activision.
