The man behind Ico, Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Guardian, Fumito Ueda, is presenting his latest projects at Tokyo Game Show today, offering insight into the designer's new (and not so new) work.
We're getting started a little late, but follow along in the liveblog below to hear what Ueda and Team ICO has to say.
Zachary M. Cain said: Shadow of the Colossus is hailed as one of the best action-adventure titles of its time. The game was originally released for the PlayStation 2 all the way back in 2005. It was so good in fact, it got a remastered version in 2018 for the PlayStation 4 and was well received by old and new fans alike. Let’s revisit this iconic classic in 2024 and see how well it holds up to its past reputation.
Daman Shelley from NoobFeed writes - Dragon's Dogma is truly a one-of-a-kind game, and there really is no other game like it, but there are a few that come close. Whether with their fantasy settings, the ability to climb mountains, or just with the overall same charm as Capcom’s iconic RPG. Here's a list of games that will hopefully scratch that Dragon's Dogma itch.
I can still hear the title screen music in my head after nearly 12 years. Loved every minute of it.
I have no issues filling my time til DD2.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Infinite Wealth and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will probably me more than enough.
More terrified I won't be done in time.
Try not to burn yourself out before the game releases. This is going to be a long and immersive RPG like the first one.
The games in this article are all great and I believe the people who are excited for Dragons Dogma 2 probably already played most of those games.
For now, I recommend you prepare yourself for long play sessions if you will be picking up Dragons Dogma at launch.
GB: "With this feature, we run down 15 of the most underrated games on the PS4 that never received the love and appreciation they truly deserve."
I've played 15, and I wouldn't consider any of those underrated TBH. Some of them are pretty high rated.
I. Not seeing anything on that list underrated. I never played concrete genie, the ASTRO vr,and one other but I forgot the name already. Nothing on there was underrated at all imo.
There’s only 4 of those games I never played, and no most of those aren’t underrated.
Awesome, Ueda reaffirmed that they're aiming for Holiday 2011 for The last Guardian.
He also confirmed that Team Ico Collection for the west will be on one bluray, with 3D Support & Trophy support and the release date is set for Spring 2011. Perfect.
News from the live blog:
The Last Gaurdian is more opened ended then just a sad ending that was rumored.
The Ico/Shadow of the Colossus collection is not just a port, they are doing HEAVY TEXTURE RE-WORK, along with the announced 3D support.
With Shadow of the Colossus, they are aiming for a 'solid 30 frames per second', like he originally invisioned for SotC.
3D will ad more depth to his master pieces.
The EU ending of Ico will now be the universal ending.
The Last Guardian may or may not have 3D support.
The Last Huardian may or may not have a connection to their past games.
The main character in The Last Guardian could have been a girl, but girls can grip stuff as good and wear skirts. ;)
And thats it.
that can only be found on sony playstation 3.
game is gonna be epic
