Gamersmint : Capcom announced the new Devil May Cry game today, however fans were not too pleased, especially with the western setting, the new look of Dante and Ninja Theory being the developers. However, the new trailer upon closer look might reveal some “possible” facts which might give series fans some hope atleast…Gamersmint takes you through what they might be -
VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "Upon finally finishing Devil May Cry 5 recently - after it spent several years on my “I’ll play that soon” list - I considered giving it a fittingly-named Late Look article. However, considering that this was indeed the final piece I was missing in the DMC puzzle, I decided to instead take this opportunity to take a look back at the entirety of this genre-defining series and rank the entries. What also made this a particularly tempting notion was that while most high-profile series have developed fairly evenly over time, with a few bumps on the road, the history of Devil May Cry has, at least in my eyes, been an absolute roller coaster, with everything from total disasters to action game gold."
3,1,4,5 to me, never played 2. 5 gameplay is amazing but level design was really disappointing to me, just a bunch of plain arenas, the story felt like a worse written rehash of the 3rd and the charater models looked weird ( specially the ladies ). Another problem with 5 was that there was not enough content for 3 charaters so I could never really familiarize with any of them
2.
Dmc.

God DMC2 was an awful game.
And in case this isn't obvious it goes worst to best
Order changes depending on your focus. I tend to focus on gameplay/fun factor, so...
5, 3, 1, 4, 2.
I really didn't like 4 but commend Dante's weapon diversity. The retreading of old ground was pretty unacceptable to me.
But even then... Still more enjoyable than 2 for me
Huzaifah from eXputer: "Devil May Cry 5, the latest iteration in the iconic DMC franchise by Capcom, still holds its own as a fantastic hack-and-slash in 2024."
NVIDIA continues to add games to GeForce NOW. This week, Devil May Cry 5, Gears Tactics, and The Crew Motorfest lead the charge.
Its interesting to have Ninja Theory on Board.
It's not Dante. Fans of the series have already given every single reason why this guy is not Dante.
The facial look. The black hair (There is a picture of Dante and Vergil when they were little in one of the games where they have white hair). The overall body design. His style. This could well be Dante's doppelganger but not Dante himself.
Well the trailer does have somewhat of a "I want to be like Zack because I'm just a Shinra Guard complex" and they were parts in which the kid had some headache/trauma problems. Who knows...
what kind of stupid title is that?
LMAO, after lookin at the pic of dante getting a mugshot it was also revealed that dante is british......lmao!!!!!!!!!!!!! his left arm sleeve (our rights) has a british emblem, hahahaha oh goodness why.....
well like i said only way i accept this is if he gets a full head of white hair by the end of the game and that this is just dante before he gets his powers. i hope it shows when vergil and dante starting hating each other and actually makes sense.
otherwise its still ugggh
i will also note that it really bothers me that he is wearing nero's jacket (albeit after dante picked it out of a garbage can)
