If there's one trend that was obvious at the 2007 GenCon Game Faire, it's that online collectable games are coming into their own. Several years after Wizards of the Coast proved that people would, in fact, pay real money for digital representations of physical cards. The latest company to get into the act is Sony Online Entertainment. The kicker here is that Sony's not content to just ape the success of other digital CCGs, they're basing their new Legends of Norrath game on the most powerful IP they've got -- the ever-ready EverQuest and EverQuest II MMOs.
