something about the look of this game i just dont like it

theirs just something about it that just makes it look weird

I agree. I haven't liked any of the new DBZ games. Both the looks and gameplay.

I was really hopeful for this gen after the Budokai and Tenkaichi games. I was thinking we'd see graphics that resembled the animation more closely. But instead we got a more 3D and airbrushed look.

Even though I don't like it as much, I think the new Naruto games did a much better job at it.

IMO Raging Blast has excellent graphics that resemble the anime. Gameplay wise the DBZ games this gen has been lacking I agree with you on that one.

The art style in this one is different from the rest of the DBZ games, remember those opening themes from the Budokai Tenkaichi games? That's the art style they're using this time around, I'm not too sure how I like it, but then again, I haven't bought a DBZ game in years.

budokai tenkaichi 2 was the closest to anime this what their doing right now is just going overboard just to take up power of current systems

when they could put that to other things like making attacks look better and stoppingg the entire black screen when ever an attack is happening for dramatic effect which also cuts back on processing

Urrakia344978d ago

looks kinda......glossy. I havent bought a single DBZ game ever since Budokai 3. The gameplay in the ones after Budokai 3 started to feel very awkward

My power level is over 9000!!!!

In DBZ games they need more things able to happen on screen. 2 player team battles at the same time, and some other stuff.

DarkBlood4978d ago

yeah never understood why its there for the psp games but not consoles, but im guesing its going to require a bit of changes to the gameplay if that was to be possible maybe in raging blast 3 in the future they might consider it

Meh, looks like the first one.

ME Gamers: Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 Review

ME Gamers: The Dragon Ball fighting game franchise have taken a down turn ever since they dropped the 2D fighting system at the end of the Budokai series. Once they started the Tenkaichi series I felt that the franchise was slowly being drawn out and would eventually reach a point where the creators will have to throw what they have built up away and find some new way to reform the series .

Console Monster - Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2 Review

Console Monster - Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 is one of those games that I wish I could love but deep down hate with a passion. With such a large variety of different characters, countless worlds and funny one liners, you would think making a fighting game based off the hugely popular anime and manga series would be a breeze but how wrong you are. Although Namco have crammed a ton of different fighting modes in, both single and multiplayer, the game feels very repetitive and unless you are a hardcore fan of the Dragon Ball series, you will probably want to steer clear of this one.
