No, you fools. There's an ENB texture mod that allows modders to add high-poly skins of real cars.

Its not skins but models. But they are quite well made as seen in the videos. Although not as good as GT5 for the trained eye :)

Having this run on my HD5870 FireX system, I can confirm right now that this is nowhere near GT5, even GT5:P which is what I was comparing it too.

In GT5, even the badges on the back of the car shine as the sun goes over the chrome.

It is very possible to achieve this, but at how much time and work? A heck of a lot!

Well, it depends. I personally was expecting something super fun and crazy like San Andreas, but they went the "realism" route and brought out a game which focused more on realism. If you were expecting that and like that stuff, then you would enjoy the game.

Eh..To a extent i agree it was not a horrible game it was aimed for a more realistic touch. The only thing that bothered me was during and after u are done with the main story. There really is not much to do but online. I miss it where the older GTA`s has all these side missions. Other then that its a great game.

I hope rockstar would put an end to the gta series already. and maybe just maybe create something new from the ground up.

the True gamers arent critical. the true gamers are the ones who watch all the new videos of all the new games in anticipation of its release. Because we appreciate the art and the time that goes into making a great game. GTA IV is a great game. Its natural that there are STILL videos of it with interest. Plus, "photorealistic" in this video looked pretty sick. :)

Would be nice if GTA4 wasn't boring as balls, and if the PC port wasn't as unoptimized as a horse carcass. I'd recommend the PC version of SR2 (since SR2 overall is better than GTA4) but the PC port of that is also horribly optimized.

SR2 better than GTA 4 with its average 8/10 rating. GTFO! GTA IV imo is the best game this gen. Yes I said it. I've enjoyed no game more this gen than GTA IV. Hence its 10/10 on Gamespot.

Like I said above, it depends on what you like. I like the crazy, unrealistic worlds of SR2 and SA because it allows me to do things I can't do in real life (basejumping, jetpacking, flying airplanes, stealing tanks, etc.). If you like more realism and a better plot, then you'd like 4 better.

one of reasons i like gta4 is the radio station filled with such great music! i hope rockstar does like a hit mix station that plays all the lastest music from like jay z tech nine, linkin park, lil wayne, lady gaga (im just naming song artist) and more to like a big music update for gta4.

I went back to play it again recently on PS3 though and it is starting to look dated. I remember how amazing I thought it looked when it came out.
