The only thing those screens prove is that this is nowhere near the level of Uncharted 2 that the devs had previously implied. It's not bad looking, though, and both consoles look the exact same. So, good for them! No one's getting a crap port this time. I wish that all devs would be so kind.

I hope you're not responding to me. I have a clear history of complaining about the PS3 ports of games. It's my biggest problem with the industry. In fact, I've decided to start boycotting any devs that don't give BOTH versions the same attention. It's why I'll not be playing anything from Square Enix in the future, and Rockstar is next in the list of boycotted devs.

I one pic the PS3 has the motion blur (Nariko wannabe running down the hall) where the 360 doesn't.

In another pic the 360 version has motion blur (Male main character jumping near a sphere in the foreground) and the PS3 doesn't.

The graphics look equally sharp and colorful. Nice job Ninja Theory.

Too bad no one on either game is really going to buy this game. A Heavenly Sword 2 would have been much better.

Any differences that you may see seem to be a matter of camera angle and the amount of motion blur present at the time. In short, they look identical to me. Now people can just enjoy the game on the console of their preference.

Noooo. Look again at image 3, where Monkey is in the background against an explosion on the right and 2 guys falling over in the foreground. Monkey and the metal floor surface have much softer focus (read: blurry) in the PS3 version.

You can see it again on the pods in image 7 (ignoring the obvious screen tear on the PS3 version). Don't know what that website were playing at but the PS3 shots look sub-HD to me, too.

did look a bit washed out on the pictures while the ps3 version was more detailed and crisper wont know until the game is released there was some lighting beyond one of the charcters neck which was in 360 version but there was another scene which the ps3 had speical lighting while the 360 version didnt i would wait until the game games out both version look good

colours stand out a little bit more on the ps3 but you really have to look at the images. Glad the creators found a way to keep quality the same on both consoles. Shows they are dedicated to bring the best quality no matter what system.

The PS3 version seems to have slightly better colours. Look at the skin and you can see its darker and less colour rich in the 360 version. That's the only difference I see. Performance wise, well thats anyones guess at the moment.

I've taken each of the screenshots in Photoshop, overlayed them and switched between layers back and forth and the 360 does have a slight edge. The PS3 version has it's infamous overall foggy/blurry-ness to it. I am sure the textures and everything are exactly the same but it seems like the PS3 likes to put that foggy layer over everything.

Who knows though what settings the PS3 version is running on. Is it using Full RGB and those other special settings? We will be able to fully compare when the games release and settings are tweaked.

This is extremely prevalent in image 12...the Xbox 360 version looks MUCH sharper.

The 360 version seems to have a bit more bloom going on in that first screen comparison, which is, unfortunately, washing a little of the detail on the pipes in the background out. Other than that, I couldn't tell the difference at all. Textures look clean on both platforms...it's just the intensity of the bloom on the PS3 that has an edge, but really, how often are we zoning on such a subtle detail?

Enslaved is definitely on my list, but it infuriates me that the bias and jaded gaming media, who had an epic bone to pick with Sony, drove Heavenly Sword into the ground to the point where Ninja Theory not only had to scrap a sequel, but went multi-platform.

this generation has been just outright nasty in terms of fanboy wars. in all my years of gaming, i've never seen a generation full of so many spiteful, vindictive, bitter "gamers."

they are very similar, jaggies are pretty much identical, but the quality goes back and forth. ps3 shows some warmer colors at times, but some of the shot look like the textures are more washed out, and not as sharp as the 360. Pretty noticable when you look at the rust on the girders of the 4th pic, but that difference isnt consistent throughout all the images, which leads me to believe that the screenshots arent necessarily consistent for either console. Regardless, i dont plan on buying the game.

Motion blur is a post-processing effect that developers add on purpose because it makes the game look better. Why do you think games like Uncharted 2 and Halo Reach use motion blur? It's absurd for you to act like it is something negative when it is something they add to give it a more cinematic, smooth effect.

We'll have to wait until proper technical analysis is done in order to know how they each perform in terms of screen tearing and frame-rate.

You can see the detail is a great deal more visible on the playstation 3 version though the lighting is a toss up between both versions having better lighting over the other in different aeras of the levels.

Before you click on the "original size" button, the PS3 looks better, but once you see it in full size, it really doesn't look that different.

Is there SSAO in the PS3 version? Maybe that's why some people think it looks better. It could just be the contrast or brightness settings.

One thing that I could notice was the lightning. The lightning in the ps3 has a higher intensity, where the Xbox is slightly more neutral. Both versions look great though, and it is up to everyone to decide for themselves what they prefer :)

I thought when the ps3 dropped I was gonna have to keep wet wipes close by there whole "the next generation starts when we say so" had me nervous, the huge but hardly utilized bluray disc space, I'd be making a point that this is only possible on the ps3, final fantasy 14 for the xbox was badly compressed no disc was over 4 gigs, basically it was very possible to be on one disc the used a dumb codec making the videos grainy and take up more space, I don't think they cared about the xbox version enough I bet you ff13 in japan will be done right.ok I'm fine ranting, I love my xbox but I wanna see the ps3 keep up if not dominate on the graphics front, I'm a graphics whore and I'd get a ps3 if it proves itself worthy, it hasn't yet, and don't bring up heavy rain.not interested.

On that note, I remember an article from a while back saying this would have better graphics than UC2. From these shots its clearly nowhere near that level.

They both look fairly on par with each other, little hit and miss on both.

( remember for dual console owners that the you won't be nit picking once the thing is running on your screen)

On a side note, I have to agree with, erm, the guy with the Chrono avatar (forgot your name buddy, sorry :p ): indeed Heavenly Sword looks noticeably better than this, and it's a 3-year old game made by the same guys...

Anyway, why are there so many people interested in debating over this game, causing this topic to reach such a high degree of "hotness" in the first place??? Gonna have to take a wild guess and say it's because the game looks like the unofficial adaptation of that recent blockbuster movie, Avatar..?

My PS3 has worked since day one.
My 360 I have replaced due to RROD 5x.

I will be getting the PS3 version. Problem solved, also, I didn't notice a difference between either version. The 360 has always done a great job with the color palette. I'll never knock xbox for that.

Yes there's a very little difference. The average person wont even care or have it come to mind when they play it. I could say the same for many graphic comparisons I see.
