Video game publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today released a bunch of new screenshots for its upcoming title Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest. The new screenshots show of the game on the PlayStation 3, PSP, Wii and Nintendo DS platforms.

I am not a big fan of the Lord of the Rings trilogy but it is a classic source of inspiration for fantasy stories. Aragorn’s Quest is based on Tolkien’s work and lets you guide the aforementioned hero as he battles the minions of Sauron. Your purpose is to reach the Black Gate of Mordor so that Frodo throws the magical ring of the evil wizard into the lava of Mount Doom and destroys it once and for all.
Nintendo Life - As a hack-'n-slash game based on the famous movie franchise, Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest enters a field that is already well-plowed by earlier releases.
