Risen 2 Announced for PC and Consoles

Deep Silver and Piranha Bytes have revealed via gamescon 2010 that they are currently working on a follow-up to their RPG Risen.

I thought the first one stunk on ice. But in a world where Two Worlds 2 can look good, theres hope for a Risen 2.

I thought it was rather bad on the 360, myself. Mainly the god awful camera, lol. The core of the game seemed OK at best, but it was nearly unplayable for me.

By the way, check the Amazon (US) date for Two Worlds II, it is going to be delayed until January of next year. Expect to hear it announced soon. The game looks really good, but a 4 month wait it is.

the first game was great but there was enough room for improvement. Hopefully this will be closer to gothic 2

I have only played it on PC and liked it alot, My friend rented it on 360 and said it looked terrible compared to the pc version. IGN gave the 360 a 7.6 and the pc version a 8.6

play best on pc....as do most games besides fighting and racing games, ohh, and platformers...the first game on pc was a solid 8, on console, a 6 at best due to performance hiccups(bad ones), blurry low res, and akward control. Two worlds 2 will be wayy better on pc...

It is not official yet. However, when retailers start pushing the dates back, a delay is nearly always inevitable. Hopefully, it is merely a mistake on the part of Amazon, but I am doubting it.

Hey, I have the game pre-ordered and it is one of my most anticipated games. I just know that every single time I have seen a major retailer push back a date for a game it ultimately ends up being delayed. When there is a delay, you will always see retailers doing this before it is ever made official. This is how you can always tell before hand that a delay is coming. Again, hopefully I am dead wrong. I want the game as much as anyone else.
