I'm part of that pre-ordering crowd :P

I hope M:OM sales shut all those lame reviewers up(2/5? Seriously, something wrong is going on over at "That site" I dear not mention).

Morgan hates Nintendo. I don't know if she wrote the review but she will definitely make it sound bad. The mixed reviews just go to show that change is something some people can't handle. The only two major gigs G4 had were the emo whiny my daddy never loved me(or so they say) story line and the awkward third to first person camera switching. I think the controls are to shady. They could of kept it the way it was with a normal controller set up. Cause we all have come to the conclusion that being stuck in one spot to shoot is annoying. That was a big problem with RE5 and why Corruption and the Trilogy were so much better. Moving and shooting is important. No onw likes firing from one spot, this isnt the civil war people. But I am still pretty excited to see whats up.

Her daddy died when she was young =P
And switching view isn't bad....people over dramatize.
Cause first person view isn't really needed in combat.
And if you have an opening you get enough time to go FP and shoot.

Donkey Kong Country Returns: A triumphant return indeed

As the first game to be released in the DKC series in 11 years, fans of Donkey Kong were eager to see how the iconic ape’s adventures continued. And when it was finally released, the game proved well worth the wait. With incredible level design, difficult yet fun platforming gameplay, vibrant presentation and an amazing soundtrack, “Donkey Kong Country Returns” is an amazing side-scrolling platformer and an incredible comeback for one of Nintendo’s oldest mascots.

Nioh games definitely up there at the top alongside Ninja Gaiden BLK.

LoveSpuds475d ago

There is a decent fan base for the Nioh games, but still think they are criminally overlooked and under appreciated.

I just bought the PS5 collection to replay them again with all their DLC, a sweet collection for my games shelf for sure.

Yea, those gardens haven't been plowed in over 10 years now though. Imagine if they cultivated it, let it grow again.

Amazing what ya can do with a samurai sword lol 🤣

The honourable mention though.

originally it wasn't going to be included because of their take on Samus' character. But the gameplay's actually not bad.

Vits474d ago

Honestly, I don't know if we can even blame them for that take. Nintendo's Sakamoto was credited as the writer and from what we learned later with the Retro Studios interviews for the Prime series, Nintendo apparently never saw Samus as this stoic badass that most of the west imagined her as. Going as far as describing her as "motherly".

Ninja Gaiden was dope but I don't really care for alot of their games.

Well it almost killed Metroid so…

PhillyDillyDee720d ago

Yeah we all loved how you took a stoic badass and turned her into a whiny shrew. All those writers should be sacked.

Terry_B720d ago

Sometimes, I doubt that Reggie was that great for Nintendo after all.
