and when did you learn to ignore being tired? ignore weather? ignore fear (or you plan on respawning if you die)? aiming with controller and aiming with a gun in real life are two completely different things.

run'n'gun doesn't work in real life. neither does camping. this says all about your coordination in COD. COD is as accurate representation of battle as you'd say Pi is somewhere between -10000000 and 10000000. and i still think this is still more accurate. at least it wasn't wrong

I remember playing COD 2 for the first time and falling in love with the series. I got into military history, joined back up into ROTC and and enjoyed learning about anything military, war or firearm related. I still enjoy all that stuff very, very much thanks to that game! Even before that I considered joining the military as a soldier in the Army, or the Airforce, or something?

But after playing Modern Warfare 1 & 2 where you die every five seconds and deal with so much cheap bullshit, I was like, "Yeah, FUCK THAT SHIT..." LOL That's what'll happen to anyone who thinks they can be a soldier just because they played and/or mastered any of the Call of Duty games. Hahaha XD

I wouldn't say it's inferior you get payed less than most but you gain life experiences most couldn't fathom. I never thought I would say I've been to Ireland but I can. My brother got out a couple of years back and he makes well over 50gs a year because of his training. Expect long days and nights and no thanks yous. Also expect to build bonds with men who will bleed every drop just to accomplish one mission! The military is not for everyone and everyone will have their view on you just because of the uniform you wear. In the end it doesn't matter because of every countries military they are safe....Unless your military is weak as hell!

Believe it or not, me and my brother used to play endless hours on CoD4, he was older and kind of fucked up his education, and thought he'd turn to the army.
So he did, and he has become one of the most successful beginners of the British Army. He mentioned that it is completely different to any game ever made, but CoD4 gave him a general knowledge on what to do, how the environment would be like and what guns to look forward to.
