To keep consumers interested in games releasing this fall and beyond, publishers have lined up a series of prologues and spin-offs. Electronic Arts plans to bridge the gap between Dead Space titles with Ignition, and now THQ hopes to capitalize on this emerging trend with Red Faction: Battlegrounds, a downloadable effort for Xbox Live and PSN that will presumably get everyone pumped for Red Faction: Armageddon, which debuts next March. Just don’t expect to run around blowing up buildings.

I love psn sales. Just this week I got Borderlands and all DLC for $15. Can't wait to try the no more hero's demo.
DSOGaming writes: "THQ released today 24 new screenshots of Red Faction: Battlegrounds."
THQ is today introducing the Armageddon Pack and Origins Pack, two incendiary downloadable content (DLC) packs for Red Faction: Battlegrounds, available now on Xbox LIVE Arcade and the PlayStation Network. Each DLC pack comes complete with their own new weapons, vehicles, maps and Achievements/Trophies.
Seems like a huge risk compared to Dead Rising 2: Case Zero.
Looking forward to this.
