Final Fantasy VII 8-bit remake

Fans are finally given the remake of Final Fantasy VII they've always wanted in all its 8-bit glory.

The music is cool, yeah ok, but come on, the best thing about FFVII were the AWESOME graphics, although they weren't 3D game worlds. Deep down in your heart everyone agrees, I know it.

They just looked and felt so incredibly fantastic and yet at the same time amazingly realistic (talk about art). You could see something totally amazingly fantastic and as well something realistic in every scene, in every game screen.

The best thing about FFVII was the feeling, which was achieved by everything the game had to offer: story, graphics, gameplay, sound. The sound is neat in 8-bit, yeah, but it's no improvement. I already know the story, gameplay shouldn't have changed that much, and graphics are low.

I much rather play FFVI on a GBA emulator ...

The music is brillaint, especially the boss music at the end. Would really like to see how they do the world map and the weapons flying around it. Great work was put into this. Awesome.

Yeh the FMV was really well done, but the in game graphics of that game were seriously bad.

8 bit and 16 bit just has so much charm which i cant get enough of.

FFVII's in-game graphics were absolutely horrible. Even in 1997 when the game was released, the graphics barely qualified as mediocre.

If you dont mind the graphics...dont play uncharted and then go to FF7 like I did, i felt like my eyes were gonna bleed lol. play on psp much less strain.

Helgasht kid, what you don't realize is that when we all played FF7 years ago, the graphics at the time BLEW us out of the water even more than uncharted did today. I remember dreaming about a day when graphics could actually look better, that's how amazing those graphics were at that time. Today i see games that look amazing, but I haven't seen a graphical leap like that in years.

Same thing...I was going to play FF1, FF3-9 the other day (I don't have FF2) and I stopped at 7 couse the gfx was just terrible. The 16 bit gfx is much easier to melt imo.

@RDD - The boss battle music is actually from FF7, just a different part (Bizarro Sephiroth) The music's done really well, but it's still not always clear that it's the same thing as the original.

Your right, I knew it wasn't the regular boss battle music but it sounds like something i've listened too so many ttimes, I can actually sing along with it. And it is done really well, it maks me appreciate the game's music even more knowing that even in 8 bit it sounds epic.

That was epic, who ever made this is a genius. FFVII is still my number 1 favorite
game of all time followed by Super Mario bros 3 for the NES.

So an 8 bit ff7 comes out before a next gen remake. Absolutely sad. I enjoyed the video then I thought this effort should be put into what the fans really want. Everyone is better off making there own ff7 game. Im getting tired of hearing rumors about ff7. this menu music in the begining brings back alot of good memories. i didint care how it looked i just knew it was addicting game play and a story line that would sink its teeth into you... its been a great run RIP final fantasy been missin you since x hell even x-2 everything else is real time garbage
