Dealspwn's Jonathan Lester gets some one-on-one time with Lego Star Wars III and Traveller's Tales Nick Ricks, and finds out a few new details about the hub and massive battle system.
Lester writes: "After half an hour of one-on-one time with the latest build and Traveller's Tales Producer Nick Ricks, I'm almost certain that this will be the best Lego Star Wars title yet. If not the finest work that Traveller's Tales has produced to date."
If you haven’t played these retro(ish) Star Wars games, today is the perfect day to give them a try.
I am not a big Star Wars guy but I enjoyed Shadows of the Empire on the N64 I found it at a pawnshop one day for $20. I bought it and I still enjoy it from time to time I only own three Star Wars games in my collection Shadows of the Empire and both Force Unleashed games. I remember my grandmother would rent a game console during Xmas she grabbed the N64 and Shadows of the Empire I sat in front of the tv all the time with that game.
James writes: "It doesn’t seem too long ago that I was reminiscing about the LEGO Star Wars game which birthed a legacy in 2005. As of right now however, it’s time to celebrate a later instalment from 2011, while also taking a look at how it went slightly off-piste in terms of the gameplay and the source of its narrative. I am of course referring to LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, which is full of innovation and probably doesn’t get enough credit for the things it attempted."
From GameWatcher: "Developer Traveller's Tales is working on a new LEGO video game built using the Unreal Engine, recent job listings on the WB Games career site reveal.
The new LEGO video game will be based on a "major IP" and seems to place a greater emphasis on its online aspects."
After the horrible glitch in Harry Potter that robbed me of a platinum, I am skepticle, even though it looks fun. The clone wars isnt that interesting to me though.
no thanks,
clone wars = new holiday special.
If they can pull it off, DEFINITE BUY!
