Developer Interview: Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom

In the video below, G4 speaks to producer Daisuke Uchiyama about Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom, an upcoming PS3 and 360 single-player game that's heavy on the co-op. "What do you mean by that?" you might be asking. Well, Majin's gameplay involves cooperation between the player and a lumbering, AI monster-creature.

Criminally neglected game so far, I guess the kids do just want shooting, blood and gore. Absolutely love the art style of this game, beautiful colours and particle effects and those silhouette style cut scenes bring me right back to my childhood when we used to get Czech/Fench shadow animations of classic fairytales broadcast on TV.

I never would have thought that a low key multi-platform title would become my most anticipated game of the year but with this genre so thin on the ground these days this game is a rare treat.

I remember Stranglehold! One of the first DLC packs of its time. A bit expensive, but cheap by today’s standards.

Another PS3 hidden gems list, and yet again Time Crisis 4 and Time Crisis Razin' Storm get snubbed. Such fun games, that shouldn't be forgotten. If only we got a home port of Time Crisis 5: Mastermind Edition.

WET is something I wish they'd remake, they had so many great ideas but not all of them were executed properly

It had a lot of potential

Also Wanted Weapons of Fate is another game that had some new fun gameplay ideas.
