SEGA has updated their official Japanese Sonic the Hedgehog 4 website with new images, and it appears they are trying to make a point-- they feature Act 2 of the Lost Labyrinth Zone, home of the infamous "tilting mine cart."

I really, really hope this doesn't end up like every Sonic game since Sonic 3 (rubbish). Still, if the Mega Man record is anything to go by, we'll have a good Sonic game again by Sonic 9.

Really? I thought all the classic Mega Man games are good except 8.

Not into sonic. Can't imagine buying another sonic game.

Looking forward to this one. There should at least be a demo, and worst case scenario, I'm out... what, ten bucks? Maybe 15? Better than dropping the money for a full retail Sonic if it falls through.

The majority of the 240 job cuts are across Creative Assembly and Sega Europe, while there will be a ‘small number’ cut from Sega HARDLight. There was no mention of other Sega UK studios, including Two Point Studios and Sports Interactive."

Shame about Creative Assembly, they should have just been allowed to do an Alien Isolation sequel.

just_looken44d ago

It was that garbage coh 3 that did them in only a special team can make a sequel worse in every way even though it was a 10 year gap and the same era.

gold_drake45d ago

I hope they find new jobs in the industry soon.

Two Point Studios and Sports Interactive probably run on a shoe string budget so that fits into SEGA better lol
