Castle Crashers Finally Coming to PSN

The wait is finally over … almost!! The Behemoth has announced pricing for the PSN, and promises the game will be available … really soon!!

I tried to wait for this game to come out on PS3, but I couldn't help but impulse buy it for Xbox 360.

The game is really fun especially when playing with friends. Now that it's coming soon, I'll definitely be getting it again for PS3 to play with my PS3-only friends.. hehe.

It doesn't have to, the game is honestly worth it's weight in gold, it's one of the best selling and IS the highest rated XBL game of all time. It's also got a ton of replay value. I really don't know what took so long for this to be on PSN. You'd think Sony would have been rushing to get it ported!! The game is an instant money maker.

It will sell some copies, but not an exorbitant amount.

That's kinda what happens to games that release late on the PS3.
It's a term I call THE BIOSHOCK TREATMENT.

I doubt Braid did especially great on the PS3 either.

for a 2 year old game you can basically play for free on a flash site or Battlegrounds....yeahhhh, totally worth it.

I am glad to finally get it but I have mixed feelings about it. When a company hands you a game 2 years after it was made you it feels like second hand. It is like 'Let's put it on PSN now because our piles of money are getting smaller'. And to add insult to injury their next game isn't going to be on PSN. I wonder how long it will take that one to get to us.

on my 360 and it was really good, but $15 for a 2 year old port?

i was actually shocked when i checked the PSN and saw that Scott Pilgrim vs the World was $9.99. that game is fricking AWESOME. i actually enjoy it more than Castle Crashers, but mostly due to that old school aesthetic that tickles my nostalgia bone. i actually thought it'd be priced at $14.99, so i budgeted accordingly. since it was only $9.99, i spent the extra $4.99 on some Dragon Age DLC for my wife. looks like BOTH companies won on that one.

Castle Crashers is a great game, but i don't know if it's $15 great. not after PlayStation 3 owners have, literally, been waiting YEARS for this title to finally come over here.

if it was priced at $9.99, i'd snag it, no hesitation. maybe it'll be discounted for PS Plus members at some point (i've yet to get PS+, but i plan on getting it within the next few weeks or so).
