No kidding. Borderlands is one of the few games console fans will like for its DLC!

That has to be the best boxart cover ever. Even better than the first Resistance...

Good to hear, I wish I could get back into it, I hit level 47 and hit a brick wall

You should try playing as Brick, where you might as well be a brick wall for your enemies.

Soldier is the best, I'm sorry when you regen ammo and health and shield when you get get a kill and with your add ons... you becomes unkillable just hold down the button and RUN!

I was the marksman (?) class and he's absolutely useless solo, and online on PSN is still laggy as hell thanks to GameSpy

Marksman useless solo? Nah dude, build Bloodwing up, you'll be ridiculously overpowered solo then. He softens them up, you pick em off.

If anyone is overpowered, it's Lilith. She's a monster if you power up either Mind Games or Phoenix and get a good SMG. Also, she's an excellent sniper if you're creative. Use elemental sniper rifles with the right skill upgrades and she tears opponents to pieces. Escapes danger easily while healing and/ or damaging and/ or stunning w/ Phasewalk. Few weaknesses. Best character in the game.

Roland is the best teammate; he heals and ammo regenerates (team w/ class mod) like mad. Very tough to kill. His turrent is a great action move that heals and distributes free ammo.

Mordecai has a great skill that ignores shields, and I have a "Skullmasher" sniper rifle that obliterates enemies. He's a bit weak defensively, though, and he can't easily escape like Lilith w/ Phasewalk.

Brick just isn't all that great because the launchers do not do critical damage and thus are actually rather weak. He's OK as a teammate who is a bullet sponge. Try teaming up with Roland and maybe get an awesome shotgun for up close (launchers such at close range for obvious reasons). Use a good team class mod to help pull your weight online. Regen something for your friends, for example. His action move is decent because it heals him quickly.

The Pursuer from Dark Spuls 2 was great, I think the author just sucks at games.

Borderlands' Opening Scene Is Still An All-Time Great

TheGamer Writes "I don't think my most controversial video game take should be that controversial, but it is. I'm a video game journalist, so you know I have some bad takes in this broken down serotonin factory I call a brain, but here's one opinion that receives universal pushback: I don't like video game music."
