GameInformer: "If you’ve been fanatical about Red Dead Redemption’s multiplayer since launch, or used to love it but want something that freshens it up, the Legends and Killers DLC is for you. If you’re more interested in playing new multiplayer modes or expanding the single-player experience, wait it out until the next DLC packs hit in the coming months. Those will contain multiplayer poker and zombies, which are sure to please fans who aren’t satisfied with the new maps and characters."
Todays deal on Xbox Live is geared towards owners of Red Dead Redemption. Sure, the game may be on sale for $29.99 (from $39.99) but you can pick up the Game of the Year Edition in stores for around that price so there’s no reason to buy the stand alone game. Instead, take a look at the DLC that is on sale.
I'd buy it. But then I realize that it's been on sale for practically every other week since GTAV was announced.
Following the revelation of the official box art design for the forthcoming Red Dead Redemption Game of the Year Edition last week, Electronic Theatre has endeavoured to secure further details of the retail release. Today, it has been confirmed that the latest version of the critically acclaimed Red Dead Redemption will launch at a budget price point in the UK.
I sold my copy without even getting 1/4 of the way, so I'm gonna pick this up for sure with all the included DLC :D
GameRevolution writes: "Publishers use DLC like Viagra. Extending the length of your assets makes them more profitable; games like Borderlands and Modern Warfare 2 can have long, extended lives with the proper content. However, the first of Red Dead Redemption's DLC packs will likely leave you feeling limp".
"Those will contain multiplayer poker..."
Why don't they just put in the stuff that's already in SP? Like trains and liar's dice, drinking, etc.
You can only play co-op and stuff so many times before they start to get boring - which they have since they're the same thing over and over again...
I think it's a good idea to put all the SP mini games in MP. I'd much rather play real people than that half assed poker against the computer in SP. I plan on buying all dlc for this game.
