1UP: Young Thor Review

Young Thor -- when you're not repeating the same levels over and over -- is an enjoyable, pick-up-and-play romp-fest. The controls are extremely snappy and responsive, the RPG elements add depth to what would otherwise be an attack-button-mash factory, and the reasonable price tag won't leave you feeling like Loki got a hold of your credit card.

"The controls are extremely snappy and responsive"

Um, what game are they playing again? They are floaty and weightless almost. This game is way over priced, like most minis, and the extend replay is absurd at best. Making us play over and over and over just to reach level 100??? No thanks. I bought it and it wasn't worth the 5 bucks. 1.99 is what most mini's should be. 2.99 at most. No mini should ever exceed 2.99. Fly Fu anyone? Worst game ever made. Not even Star Voyager can best it.

Young Thor Coverage by the PS Vita Review Network

The PS Vita Review Network has posted their opinions of the PlayStation Mini, Young Thor.

"All in all, Young Thor was a neat little platformer, taking its roots from Norse Mythology that is not focused on enough in gaming. The visuals have taken a turn for the worse being stretched out on the Vita’s screen and many of the stages are carbon copies of others. However, if you enjoy beat-em-up games and Role-Playing Games, you should definitely give this game a go. It’s a fun little game worth the measly $2.49 price tag."
