IGN: NBA Jam Makes Its High-Def Debut

IGN writes: "If you've been following IGN.com over the last week (and I hope you have), then you know that NBA Jam is coming to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the form of a one-time free download packaged with NBA Elite 11, EA Sports' simulation basketball title. Recently I got the chance to head up to Vancouver for a day in EA's studio. During my time I was lucky enough to get the first-ever hands-on with NBA Jam on high-definition systems".

you could use the PS EYE or Kinect to scan your face into the game.

I wonder if you can still unlock the Mortal Kombat characters? Would be sweet if each console had there own unlocable players

PS3 - Kratos, Nathan, Helghans, Sack Boy, Kevin Butler

360 - Master Chief, Cole Train, Banjo, Bill Gates

Wii - Mario, Zelda dont play the Wii much so cant think of any more.

PC - Chuck Norris, Mr.T dont play PC at all so cant think of any.

Nice article. I would add Tecmo NBA Basketball for the NES to this list. I liked the focus on NBA Jam, though!

Electronic Arts Holiday Sale: Top Ten iPhone And iPad Games

Chris Buffa (Modojo): It appears publisher Electronic Arts is in the spirit of giving. Either that, or it wants to dominate the App Store charts.

Regardless of the company's true intentions, you'll be happy to know that all (and we mean ALL) EA published iPhone and iPad games are now $0.99 (or free) for a limited time, which gives you the perfect opportunity to capitalize on its best titles.

With this in mind, make sure you grab these ten games immediately.

Where Have All The Cheat Codes Gone?

Chris Buffa (Modojo): Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A

The famous "Konami Code", a string of simple commands almost every video game player knows by heart. Although it first debuted in the 1986 NES title, Gradius, the cheat gained notoriety for granting 30 lives in the NES version of Contra, a side scrolling title so difficult most players relied on the code to beat the game.
