9. The Legend of Zeld: Phantom Hourglass (DS)
10. New Super Mario Bros. (DS)

Wii : about 60k
PS3 : about 20k
360 : about 3.3k

SONY is doing alot better. PS3 is taking over, n it's big guns haven't come out yet. BY The Way: Where's the XBOX360 at? it sunk already? Well, we are going to see a change when HALO3, Bioshock n Mass effect come out. But PS3 games are going to there to Back the PS3 up.

Wii sales continue to drop. Are the Japanese finally starting to realize its a last gen system with a light gun controller at an 80% markup? I always knew they were smarter then us Americans. Kidding....

Where did you get 80% from?

Nintendo reported makes about $40-50 bucks off each console sold.
So thats more like 20-17% profit earned.

For example most Apple products have a 33-20% markup over cost.
The iPod is in that 30% range while the iMac is in that 20% range.

According to VCchartz everyone dropped this last week except for the PS2 which went up about 9% over the week before.

Wii has had a steady decline.

75k units July 29 No bump in sales caused by Mario Party 8.

34k units July 29 Most of the bump caused by Hotshots Golf 5
20k units August 5 Still showing a decent bump from Hotshots 5?

Now its fair to say the PS3 is still getting a butt whopping by the Wii but the gap is closing since the ridiculous difference of July 15th and the Wii may be losing momentum.

Mario Party 8 still is number 1 game for 8 week in japan wow wow
DS and the wii is doing very well
and ps3 is starting to sell
people really buy Slide Adventure Magkid i am going to still think about it

I have to admit... the PS3 is doing a lot better in Japan... and the wii... sells are dropping... can it be true what they being saying about the wii?... the wiimote.. will not be able to hold the wii for too long?

if the ps3 again has a price drop, which i dont see happen to soon, but people say around the christmas season there might be, but if and when they do with all the games coming out this fall and winter, we will see sales double at least i believe

But I think it's good that the PlayStation 3 is picking up in sales not only in Japan but also the rest of the world. I don't want Microsoft to become complacent and lazy. Competition is good for all gamers no matter what we play on. Everybody is getting good games. Good times for everyone. Gamers of the world lay down your arms and unite!
