GGG: "Last week, we paid tribute to some of the most underrated games of this generation (i.e. stuff you should have bought, but didn’t). Now it's time for the evil twin version! If you missed out on some of the overlooked gems from our previous article, it was probably because of these games.
While none of them are explicitly bad, they were all relentless over-hyped by games journalists and fanboys alike (seriously, even real life isn't worth 100%, so why award it to a game?).
Valorant Replays were demonstrated for the first time today in the latest Valorant Dev Update, which also shared new information about update 8.11
As the latest client update rolls out for Steam Remote, it appears Steam Deck users may not be able to reap the benefits just yet. The client update in question has added support for full HDR streaming from a Windows PC using Nvidia or AMD hardware acceleration to another Windows PC or Mac with an HDR display. However, Steam Deck users are struggling to send HDR from their PC to their device.
Senua's Saga: Hellblade II has now launched, bringing with it some of the most stunning visuals you've ever seen in a game.
The first game lacked depth as well, but the graphics were phenomenal
Going to be real. I’m playing on my PC and every setting is on high at 60fps locked. The game is beautiful, sounds good in headphones (I’m sorry but Returnal still holds the aural crown), and has an impressive photo mode. Can literally hit that at any time. You won’t have full control at certain times, but it’s impressive. After more than an hour I’ve already started to get bored. The fights are brain dead so far and it is a CRAP ton of walking and listening. I’m over the beginning “theme” of you did this to us (people that have played will get this as not to spoil anything). I literally non stop run every chance I get. Obviously isn’t the whole game but gahdamn. Hopefully it picks up soon. Definitely can’t see this being a 10/10 by any stretch of the imagination because the beginning has gotten so boring. Here’s to a better experience tomorrow or Friday when I pick it back up.
Uncharted 2 ? Overrated ?
Lol.
Ok noone light up, this might flame badly.
I dont really agree with uncharted 2 being on there, its criticaly acclaimed and its graphics are second to none STILL. Its a game thats stood the test of time and most of all... it ISNT a first person shooter , like the majority in that saturated market.
Halo ODST was just one of those games that was there to milk the gullable ones. O.D.S.T. is actually an anagram for "Hey give bungie your money because we have master chief on the front cover", its just REALLY hard to make it out :P.
Dragon Age - Is one thats in a mix for me. Its got a great story line but the combat and graphics leave something missing, so yeah i'd probably agree that was over-rated.
Then theres modern warfare... definately worthy to be on this list in my opinion.
.
Something / someone gotten big / popular, it's overrated.
I love Uncharted 2 and I'm glad it got numerous awards, great sales, & critically acclaimed.
I never played Modern Warfare 2 nor Halo ODST.
And I like Dragon Age.
What I don't like is Final Fantasy XII (not XIII).
I don't like the story, the characters, & the music.
I do admit the Gambit system & Active Dimension Battle is great.
But I'm not that eager to called it "overrated" as it also got amazing sales & awards.
Simply not blind enough to say "it's overrated because I don't like it."
If I don't like something / someone whose supposedly "overrated".........
I tend to stay away & try not to ruin the party.
Uncharted 2 isnt overrated.
more flamebait.
*rolls eyes*
