GZ: It's a strange world we live in. At no other time in human history have we been more connected to other people. Even lifelong singleton agoraphobics can be in dialogue with other humans 24 hours a day, thanks to the relentless noise of social networking, and it has become so ubiquitous that finding a quiet moment can be almost impossible.
Like the title says, PS3Life (a growing community) goes to GamesCom and has decided that they give the members the opportunity to ask questions about their favourite games. If you have some questions about a game, please post them in their forum and they'll deal with it.
3xG says: "With so many titles to choose from its hard to pick just a handful to accompany your new console. Below we have comprised a mixed genre list of both retail and downloadable games for your playing pleasure."
A great list, full of variety. I would have taken out some of their choices to find room for Valkyria Chronicles and Killzone 2, but hey, you can't have everything.
fps fans=killzone 2
racers fans=GT5
action fans=uncharted 2
rpg fans=demon soul
platform fans= R&C
etc.etc.etc
there is always a game for you on the ps3
I highly recommend Valkyria Chronicles to anyone with an 'open' taste in games. Very underrated but an absolute gem, no trophies though. :(
»PS3 or Xbox 360?« is not the only question of principle in the whole games industry. At the moment it is the »Pepsi or Coke« question for gamers, Videogameszone thinks.
if you prefer the ps3 good for you
if you prefer the xbox 360 good for you
to each his own i guess
i prefer the PS3 cuz it's beast. i always had a 360 but it broke... but i'm picking up the 4GB console today.
Coca Cola just tastes better than pepsi. Pepsi has a weird after taste and the carbonatedness (lol) is too low. Gets flat quicker than coke.
Not really an accurate analogy, suggesting there's no significant difference is silly. Then again this is another crappy .de article, so what did I expect.
they both have there good and bad points and i wouldnt be without either of them
There is Facebook on the PS3 too, and a web browser...
So, his complaint is that he likes to look at his friend list and see what his friends are playing on xbox? He also likes that 360 has facebook and twitter..
Could've sworn i've been doing that on PS3..
Now I won't be complaining about it not being a part of it, but would people actually utilize this if it came to the PS3? I mean let's be serious for a second. How many people would tweet games and have tweets sent of trophies they earned? Why would you send this to Facebook as well especially if you don't have as many gamer friends?
Personally I don't find either to be as valuable to the addition of the consoles but to each their own I suppose. The only thing I would like is Last.fm or some internet radio on one or the other that can even be utilized while in the game. That makes me sad that we can't do this yet.
[edit]
To avoid confusion I know there is a facebook integration on PS3, but I mean an application that launches it. Hope this clears any mix-ups.
I come online for gaming not because I'm lonely. Anyway I hope the PS3 has a twitter intergration since thats my favorite social website as of right now.
i didn't buy my ps3 to talk cr*p to people all day[even tho you can in loads of ways, talk to people that is] LoL
i got my ps3 for GAMES :]
