It’s been announced via the official FFXIV twitter account that phase 2 of beta testing will begin at 19:00 (PDT) tonight! With this also comes the announcement that phase 2 will see the game’s servers running full time!

RMT ruins the economy for people who aren’t paying for in game money. Prices sky rocket for items. They really need to come up with a system that prevents in game money/item sales and still be able to trade items. I’m sure it can be done but the cost to do it is the issue.
Remember, dudes, game companies have no issues if you pay money to THEM to "save the time"
But how dare you pay to somebody else.

I was part of Phase One, but didn't have the beast required to play. I'll be giving it a go on a friend's PC once it downloads.
Everyone, the update for the game (around 3.5GB) is downloaded via a .torrent file. Do not use the client supplied with the Beta, you can't pause, resume or cap upload speeds. Download a program called µTorrent, go into C:\Users\[Profile]\Documents\M y Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV Beta Version\downloads\ffxiv-beta\d 96437e6 and use the .torrent file with the other program.
