Game Vortex: I Spy Universe Review

Game Vortex writes: "I Spy Universe is a combination edutainment/puzzle title meant for kids, but one that can be enjoyed by all ages, at least for a short time. The graphics are bright and cheery and use actual photographs for gameplay backgrounds. When I first read that, I was dismayed, but it actually worked really well for the game and I enjoyed the look and feel of it."

Wired Review: I Spy Universe for Nintendo DS

Wired: Despite the novelty of the Wii, which for me still hasn’t completely worn off, I find that my kids more often prefer to play games on the Nintendo DS. Most of their Wii games sit there, only played once in a while. Another factor is that the DS is portable and great for road trips and outings. Despite this preference, some of their DS games also aren’t played as much as we would have thought. Recently, though, I was recently able to review a new DS game that my kids love and that my son will play over and over again.

CSM: I Spy Universe Review

CSM: The fuel-earning mini-games in I Spy Universe add a great new layer to the classic hidden object game. As fun as these scavenger hunt games are, they can be a strain on the eyes after a while, so it's nice to have the visual searching broken up every now and again by a less-static mini-game.
