Michael Jackson Game Expected To Sell 1 Million Copies

Ubisoft has stated that Michael Jackson: The Experience will become their latest million-seller. In an interview, Ubisoft UK MD Rob Cooper said that the company was approached by the King of Pop to create a dance game based on his iconic moves long before he died.

mantisimo5028d ago (Edited 5028d ago )

.....touching little boys is confirmed but Aaron Greenberg is guest dancer in the Moonwalk section.

Jesus Juice is confirmed. It will be similar to inFamous in that you can take the dark path or the light, your actions will have consequences and MJ's appearance will also alter.

They want to market MJ to the kids. What better way than make him a video game icon.

Macaulay culkin wrote a book with the exact same name!

Why did Michael Jackson place a phone call to Boyz-2-Men? He thought it was a delivery service.

But really, I think it probably will sell a million, sadly.

Capitalizing on someones death. If he was alive I seriously doubt he would give them the rights to produce this game. Some people said Michael would be worth more dead than alive. Now I see what they meant.

I actually agree with you for once, Soda.

It's strange to think that those people on the other side of the avatar are human beings with thoughts and emotions.

Here's to life...and remembering those we've lost.

Soda...I bet you're a pretty nice guy in real life.

yea this is sad. spittin on the mans grave. 1st they said they was remaking the moonwalker game now its some ddr game we all know they trying to milk his name and the sad part theyre not the only ones. no body even cared when the kids came out n said he didnt do it it was about the money. but hey at least we got mj dance revolution.

DigitalRaptor5028d ago (Edited 5028d ago )

Well I don't see exactly what's so bad about this. If Michael had given his consent, then why not go ahead with the game. Also the Michael Jackson Estate has given their consent for this game. i.e. Family, friends, lawyers, have given their permission, so it has their blessing. And they will get massive profits from it too, not just Ubisoft.

They are keeping the vision alive. This is not my type of game, but at least they are staying faithful to his legacy.

If this sucks MJ will be moonwalking in his grave.

LeonSKennedy4Life5028d ago (Edited 5028d ago )

There will never be another Michael Jackson.

Edit: Lol. She may look exactly like him, but she'll never define multiple generations of music, redefine a genre, or move like him.

AppSpy Review: Michael Jackson The Experience

A fantastic experience for any fan of Michael Jackson's music given an immaculate level of care when it comes to the audio and visual presentation. It's just a shame that you'll be nickel and dimed consistently for the complete package.
