Sega's already got its boots firmly under the App Store table, but it's relentless march toward Mega Drive domination isn't showing any signs of slowing. Two more 16-bit classics have just hit the iPhone and iPod touch, in the shape of Space Harrier II and Ecco the Dolphin.

There’s a good article somewhere on the net showing some of the dev designer documents for this game. The level of detail they put into creating fish, coral, rocks etc was pretty amazing for its time.
Its a classic game that never gets old for. But seriously to hell with Welcome to the machine. That level and the one before it suck.
Whether you have real Mike Tyson and pixelated Mike Tyson fighting for the title of “scariest human being” or you’re questioning reality thanks to a malevolent Creator, it’s safe to say that some retro game bosses are just...unsettling. :-|
Definitely missed Giygas from Earhbound 2 on that list. That boss gave me nightmares when I was a kid. Finished the game way later as a grown up and holy cows, the boss still gave me the hebejebes 😂
