If there is one genre of games that is criminally underrepresented in the current generation, it is the shoot ‘em up. Shmups provide an incredible thrill: charging forwards, guns ablaze, weaving through a torrential cannonade of oncoming enemy fire where the slightest of mistakes means instant death. They are one of the oldest and most venerated genres in the medium of videogames. Unfortunately, outside of Japan this type of game also happens to be something of a rarity.
Platine Dispositif has made the complete remixed soundtracks available with the Gundemonium Collection; current game owners will get the soundtracks when they update the games on Steam. The original soundtracks are available along with the remixed versions. Among the three games, the soundtracks include a total of 75 tracks.
In honor of the 50th episode of Bullet Heaven, PPR's Ser Flash dives into the Gundemonium Collection from developer Rockin' Android. Winners of the episode 50 giveaway are also announced.
Platine Dispositif has new updates for the three titles in the Gundemonium Collection, available now automatically for owners to download by starting up the game. Non-owners can consider a purchase on Steam.
