Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood DLC planned

Ubisoft has revealed that downloadable content is in the pipeline for upcoming stealth 'em up sequel Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood.

Quizzed during its panel at the San Diego Comic-Con this week if DLC was planned for the game, an unknown member of the panel commented, “Yes, there are plans in the works.”

Right now it remains unclear as to whether or not the DLC will be single-player or multiplayer-based.

Furthermore, it was also revealed that Desmond will receive more screen time, and will “take a very unexpected turn. Things will change quite a bit in the present day. He’ll also be changing his look.”

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is due out on November 16.

So they make a complete game and sell you 70% for a full price and then charge you and additional 30% of the remaining game that will probably cost the same as a full price game.

Way to go Ubisoft at the end of the day charging 1 game at double the cost.

I probably wouldn't care so much if it was actually complete additional content, and not stuff that should have been on the disc already as part of a fully finished product. I only say this because we've already been subject to poor treatment in the last Assassin's Creed, as well as Prince of Persia's "Epilogue" content, and I'm sure even more games I can't think of off the top of my head. Between things like this, the horrendous customer service (really, it's been atrocious), and a few other recent negative experiences with their games, I'm starting to dislike Ubisoft quite a bit. They aren't quite at Activision's level yet, but they are certainly working hard towards it in my opinion.

You guys need to understand that DLC isn't an afterthought. It is often planned at the very beginning of the development stages.

Oh and I think most of us deserved to be screwed. Especially due to our superiority complex. Like most of us(excluding me) have no idea in which process a video game is made and how everything is planned out.

You guys are only great at being fanboys, trolls, and elitist.

BTW I'm not defend Ubisoft or anything; this is just a potshot at the N4G community.

Very likely but eh.

I'm just tired of people on this website who think they know how video games are made and what game engines are good without actually using them. Same applies to people commenting on games they have never played and things like Kinect or Move.

I haven't experienced either of those myself but you don't see my downplaying them. Infact I think about what type of experiences can be crafted with those technologies.

I love video games a lot. I don't think many people here do. If they did, there wouldn't be a massive XBOX 360 vs PS3 each time a news article is posted.
