This year's edition of FIFA finally brings the PC version of the game in line with the superior PS3 and Xbox 360 games. Thankfully, this increase in graphical fidelity hasn't resulted in recommended system specifications likely to score an own goal with fans.

We're certainly not talking cutting edge hardware then, and there's even better news for PC gamers running rigs on life support. PC producer Ian Jarvis has told VideoGamer.com that FIFA 11 will "work on a slightly lower-end machine as well".

"The decision to retire older EA titles is never easy." That's also what they said when they shut down the servers for BF2: MC.
I think maybe with the release of pay for your own server on BF3 this is what EA might continue to use for all games giving an option for people who want to play it online.
I'm so sick of EA and all the BS, i'm sick of a lot of publishers anymore.
