I have a Netgear Dual band N router. I use WPA as well as MAC filtering for security. The box handles this just fine. But yeah if you have no access to your network router (which appears to be the case with these guys in office) you could run into issues. Whoever titled this N4G article is retarded.

You can use WPA2 with the new 360 as well, but typically the problem is that there's another device in the house that doesn't support it. WPA is widely enough supported, even by older devices.

MAC filtering should be done by all as well as registered IPs for each device by MAC address. Keep things nice and neat and greatly improve security. Both are very easy to do with any wireless router made in the last 5 years.

Did you even read the article.
Its has no problem with wifi.
They couldn't connect to the router at their office because of security protocols to be even more precise blocked ports which the 360 needs.

Later in the article they say the slim works perfect in a household router with not blocked off ports.

The new slim cant even rrod because it's has a auto shut off mechanism when overheated. Yeah only claim on scratching disks was that monkey that ignored the warning on the slim.

Would people want a wireless G internally from the get go or have an internal wireless N adapter 5 years later? You decide. I think they both are good and it's a good idea that MS added it internally. It matters more with the router than the adapter imo. A N router is a must but either G or N adapter is fine really. But as long as you can have a stable online experience that's all the matters no matter what you use/have.

Every legitimate site that has reviewed the new 360 has walked away very impressed. It cannot Red Ring anymore as it employs the same heat/shut down protection as the PS3 and PC, its quiet, it has the latest wireless widely available, and its striking in its design.
