Walmart Kinect Ready (RunDLC)

RunDLC reports that Walmart launched an online pre-order campaign for Kinect that includes the camera, $30 gift card and choice of one game for $199.00.

Buff10445039d ago

Huh....not too bad at all.

GWAVE5039d ago

So, the $150 to $200 confirmed?

timm3hx5039d ago

i think it's only 200 cause the game is included.

HolyOrangeCows5039d ago

I think it's at least pretty much confirmed to be SOMEWHERE between $100-$150.

solidjun55039d ago (Edited 5039d ago )

Then it would be $140 without it? Then again, the gift card is nice incentive to buying kinect from Walmart.

EDIT: WTH! what's with the disagrees? I'm just pointing something out. Geez, you guys takes this seriously.

He's a clever troll...that Solidjun!!!
RAWR!! /s

FragMnTagM5039d ago

You are not allowed to say anything the slightest bit pro 360 around here or you get a mountain of disagrees and lose bubbles.

R2D25039d ago (Edited 5039d ago )

and if you say something nice about Sony you get lots of bubbles : )

@ solidjun, I was not disagreeing with you and dont know why some one would. I was replying to Frag.

solidjun55039d ago (Edited 5039d ago )

@R2D2

I'm pro sony and the disagree button is a waste IMO. I won't go to the MS board and talk ish. I was just curious with the report regarding the pricing.

@Frag: I've been here a while. I know the deal from both sides of the aisle.

EDIT: @below
Doesn't the bundle in the link provide only 1 game? Unless you're assuming that Kinect comes with a game already.

KingME5039d ago

Staying with Solidjun5's theory, if the games are $60 and you get kinectimals and another game doesn't that make Kinect just $70.00?

iceman29295039d ago

I posted an article awhile back confirming that the prices are at 39.99

if anyone can help kinect, it's walmart. if they plaster it everywhere people are bound to get sucked in.

Buff10445039d ago

While I am at it, I should probably get some detergent. But seriously, the gift card makes it sweet.

xYLeinen5039d ago (Edited 5039d ago )

Gonna have a good laugh if the failure rate on Kinect is the same as the old xbox >_>

Spenok5038d ago

Lmao that would be hilarious. ::Sits down with a bag of popcorn::

Buff10445039d ago

I just want it to work, bottom line. I also don't want to install flood lights for it to read my motions.

Kinectimals Review | AppGamer

Since the beginning of time, man has sought to dominate the creatures of the wild, while children have tried their hardest to squish out their fuzziness. Owning a real animal requires time, patience and frequent carpet cleanings; while for the low price of $2.99 on Google Play and iOS and little heavy lifting, Microsoft Studios brings you an adorable (virtual) wild animal of your very own.

Kitten Assassins and The Top 10 Cats in Games

Cats and kittens are the fuel that keeps the Internet muttering “Aww,” and flooding every social media channel available with adorable, fluffy overload until Cute Induced Cardiac Arrest is the inevitable result. Everything is better with cats. The Earth itself knows this, as it allowed a huge rock to kill off all those ugly, scaly dinosaurs just to make way for cats. Unfortunately, it’s logistically impossible for cats to be everywhere, but that doesn’t mean we have to live with this situation. For example, when we get our hands on Unity in November, Arno and his band of Assassins will be stupid, regular old humans.
