i really should have bought this instead of red dead redemption. now im suffering :( . man i really want this game. can someone tell me somethin though. can u design ur own type of kart? like change the shape, and form etc.. not just add things to it but actually design the body yourself, or just pick from a bunch of presets? its somethin i couldnt tell whether or not u could do when i played the beta and demo.

I bought it a couple weeks after release and it's a great game in the same vein as LBP with the Play.Create.Share. gameplay. The amount of user-created content already made is amazing. There's sooo many tracks, mods(characters), and karts to choose from, it's crazy. And it only takes a second to download someone's creation. It's super quick and easy. Loads of replay value.

It's a brilliant game! Once you start messing around with everything, just be careful you'll get so addicted. Especially once you start getting used to the track editor, I spent like a whole day doing one track lol.

Log out of PSN and load times will half, not perfect but is better than nothing until they fix the load times :)

loading ... they're working on it .

it's at least confirmed that the next patch willhave an option ( casual ) to tone down the aggressivity of the AI in career mode

but yeah they gotta patch the loading that totally does my head in.

I've just finished the game and am now hitting online, what's up with the hot laps though and people getting 7 seconds on some...are they cheating?

yeah i was also wondering how people got such quick laps?
I have seen record lap times under a second, what's going on there?

I believe there exist "shortcuts" where you can basically fly across the map somehow.

I watched the ghost and it looked a bit fishy to me. They seem to "blow up" at the start and miraculously appear right at the end of the track.

Seems fishy.

Still I posted top 10% in my first race which I was pleased with although I'd like to know what the real fastest laps are, as hagla says when see sub 1 second it is pretty pointless.

**EDIT** So I just checked it out with UFG and it is a glitch which there looking to patch soon. Also anyone caught cheating apparently gets a 2 day ban..lol.
