After the Prince’s cel-shaded and ridiculously easy adventures in 2008’s Prince of Persia, Ubisoft have seemingly abandoned their new direction for the series, opting to revert back to the original Sands of Time trilogy with Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. It may coincide with the release of Jerry Bruckheimer and Disney’s big-budget movie adaptation of The Sands of Time, but it has little to do with the movie (sorry, no sexy Jake); instead, filling in the gap between the first game and its sequel, Warrior Within.
Bluepoint's recent remakes have been excellent, but which games do we want to be remade next, without being unrealistic.
1. Syphon Filter, 2. Silent Hill, 3. Prince of Persia, 4. Psychonauts, 5. Demon's Souls
I'd be onboard with a proper Syphon Filter and Silent Hill remake by Bluepoint. Seems they can be trusted to stay true to the originals in their work.
I have to cast my vote for the original Deus Ex however. Being that SquareEnix still owns the property though? I'll just give up any hope of that of course.
