Eidos likes making it hard for you to play the Kane & Lynch 2 demo

Eidos has released the demo on Xbox Live for Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days. The only problem is, it is exclusion to people that sign up and gain access through a give away from a "limited amount" of codes. So far everyone that has signed up has received a code.

I was actually surprised by the demo, my expectations for this game where very low, but after playing it the MP is a freakin blast. Much much better than the first game by far. I highly suggest if you have the chance to try this game, take it. Its seriously some good fun.

The way publishers and developers are making the gamers jump through hoops just to download a demo or beta lately if ridiculous. They think they are doing us the favor. A demo is a tool used to entice gamers to buy their product. They have all lost their freaking minds lately. Suffering from severe delusions.

It's to create the "excitement". The idea is if a gamer is willing to jump through all the loops to get the demo, by the time the gamer gets the demo, he's more likely to be more excited to play it.

I'm the opposite. After tried to sign up for the demo, it asks me to create SE account just to get the demo. By then, I didn't care anymore.

i have never understood why they do this crap for a demo.
if they had to post discs out i could understand, but downloads, i know there are server costs but letting everybody who wants to, download it isn't going to suddenly bankrupt them.
they made a demo to promote the game, restricting the number of people who can try the demo is the very last thing you want to do, in fact it's the antithesis of what a demo is supposed to be.
if they have faith that their game is good and the demo will show that, why would they restrict it?
