Nerd Reactor: Mexican Wrestling has long been a tradition in my family. When I was a little kid my uncles would tell me stories of wrestling legends Mil Mascaras and El Santo. Although those names may not be as memorable in the states as Hulk Hogan or Stone Cold Steve Austin, they are still legends in their own right. To this day, I still own a vintage Mil Mascaras mask that no longer fits around my big head. When I heard the news about a Lucha Libre game being developed it immediately caught my attention and I loved the idea but can it compete with WWE video games.
Hanzala from eXputer: "Contra: Operation Galuga is a classic revival done right, but why hasn't Konami done the same yet for the bigger and more popular Castlevania?"
Slowdown. Let them get these suikoden games done first. Alot of us are still waiting for those
well, the new C ontra was made by Wayforward, who have been taking sooooo many of these classic franchises and making new iterations of them. Imo they aren't very good at it. And I don't see operation galuga being a large enough success to possibly give them Castlevania.
Today Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson provided a look into his ideas for the use of generative AI in the company's development processes.
EA is still a shady shitty company even with or without the help of Skynet. All they will use AI for is new ways to milk loot boxes and come up with the same sports title with a different year on the label. They are one company I truly do hate with a passion. They single handedly ruined some great franchise with their death touch. ME, Dead Space, Alice Returns, Dante's Inferno.
EA layoffs followed by 'Generative AI to Drive Monetization'
I knew it. Wonder what AI salary looks like? Nothing.
And take away creativity, and people's jobs as we've been seeing. Got it.
No thanks. I want my games created by people, not AI.
EA doesn't want to lose their title of worst gaming company ever, always trying their best to remain the champs!
What's sad is that they have so much potential to be a decent publisher.
SSX Tricky / SSX 3
Def Jam Vendetta / Fight for New York
NBA Street
NFL Steet
Mirror's Edge
Bad Company
Burnout 3 / 4 / 5
Remember when EA used to be awesome? It's all over with now. Unpolished, if not out-right broken games these days. Endless monetization and gambling in their sports games, and let's not forget wasting hours of your life trying to unlock characters or equipment using "surprise boxes!"
Gareth, Justin, and JoeyZ look at Layoff news for EA and Sony and reasons behind the downturn in the industry and more.
wwe has brand loyalty on its side..
in between matches you fight robots and aztec mummies like el santo.
It can be a decent wrestling game.. I mean seriously WWE games have been all exactly the same with minor updates every year. They also take at least 2 features out every year and re-add them a couple of years later and convince everybody there new. They added the ability to make your own belts twice now and in the last game removed it again!
