El Shaddai Interview - no lead platform, 12-hour long campaign

Scrawl: "While we unfortunately didn’t have enough time during E3 to stop by Ignition Entertainment’s booth, we did get in touch with them afterward about an interview regarding El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron. We know many of our readers are interested in the game, so we went ahead and got it."

never heard of this game before

nnotdead5065d ago

thats one of the big problems at E3. too much time talking about who won, and not enough time showing great looking games such as El Shaddai

CrzyFooL5065d ago

They had ads for this plastered all over E3 but I never got a chance to see it.

Stunt5065d ago

Funny thing is they weren't actually showing any of it. They had mega-trailers on display at their booth, but there was no gameplay booths or any behind closed doors looks available.

The art style reminds me of Prince of Persia. (2008)

FrankDaTank5065d ago

is it just me, or does el shaddai sound like a terrorist sleeper cell?

Sandwich Bender5065d ago

That's racist! And also yes, yes it does.

karan86245065d ago

XD

We're going to hear news reports soon about that, itll turn out to be a publicity stunt for the game

Ashta5065d ago

El Shaddai is one of the many names of God. Ya know, from the Bible?

Old Testament to be exact. It literally translates to "God Almighty"

DigitalAnalog5065d ago

Well, it means "God Almighty" in Judaic.

Anyways, it has an Okami feel to it and I'm liking it already!

rdgneoz35065d ago

I have Okami, it looked nicer than this and had a better feel to it.

El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron HD Remaster (NS) Review | VGChartz

VGChartz's Evan Norris: "Presenting El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron to a new audience and preserving it for future generations is a great thing, especially considering its cult status. Whether that audience will enjoy it is another matter entirely. Due to its cryptic storytelling, repetitive combat, and clumsy platforming, it doesn't quite escape the orbit of mediocrity. Still, there's a lot to admire, including exciting boss battles, impressive production design, and powerful music. If nothing else, it's an ambitious game with a singular vision. And that's something to celebrate."
