Once in a while a video game gets released which changes the industry as we know it. Such so, the majority of these games path the way for better games in the future.
Following the link is a compiled list of the 10 greatest video games of all-time, taking into account their critical, commercial and revolutionary success.
Final Fantasy 7 has come back under the spotlight thanks to the release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, but is it worth replaying the original?
Very much so. Graphically it's dated but the story and the gameplay haven't aged a day. It's still one of my all time favourite RPGs and for me is better than Remake in some ways.

Rise of the ronin sold twice as much as Dragons Dogma 2 this week...but no articles about that. It's only news if a PS exclusive is being outsold.
Oh god...The Sims isn't a game.
Just because Pac-Man came out a long time ago doesn't mean it's good, it means it's old.
Vice City was better than San Andreas, neither of which are top 10 though.
Modern Warfare 2...lol
Halo...lol again
Ocarina of Time...okay maybe, you got 1 so far.
Final Fantasy 7, ugh. Yeah most people would agree, but again, just because you have fond memories for it and it "helped you through your awkward early teens because you fell in love with Aeris and Cloud was your best friend" or whatever pathetic story most people have involving this game, doesn't make it that great of an actual GAME.
Pokemon...what are you, a 5 year old girl? Jesus.
Tetris: Refer to Pac-Man comment
Super Mario 64, hated it. I never got Mario. Who the hell wants to play as an Italian plumber in a game that has nothing to do with Italy or plumbing. They should make the next Mario game about cleaning the shit out of the Venice canals. Seriously though, lots of people like it, just not my cup of tea.
I don't really know what my top 10 all time games would be, but the only one on this list I would have in mine would be GTA San Andreas, the rest I'm not too bothered about.
I did spend many hours playing San Andreas, and it was all fun. The only other game I can think of which I liked playing as much if not more was Deus Ex. I would definately have those two in my top ten.
Finally I see a list I (almost) absolutely agree. I suppose that PS3 users would like to see UC2 in it, as much as I'd have included Gears of War 2. But, honestly, if we try to collect games "which change(d) the industry as we know it" when released, I think puncafish guys are right.
I'm confused as to how Super Mario 64 got on there since it is regarded by many to be one of the worst Mario's. Either way the list is pretty decent. These lists are always irrelevant because you can't really compare an RPG to a shooter and say one is necessarily that much better than the other because they are too different.
I knew this article was doomed the moment I saw the story picture
