Gaming Union writes: "During E3 2010, Gaming Union got the chance to try out one of GamersFirst's newest free-to-play online games, MKZ. The company is known for release numerous online games through their website, which run on a free-to-play model, where their revenue comes in through micro-transactions in-game for various items depending on the game."
Publisher Little Orbit just announced the acquisition of GamersFirst and a number of games with it, including APB Reloaded, which will be updated according to an aggressive development plan and moved to Unreal Engine 4.
APB Reloaded is horrible on console. It was super buggy, glitchy and broken. Hopefully they fixed all the issues.
Fallen Earth is a diamond on the rough and the closest thing the MMO genre has to Fallout Online. Best of all, it's totally free-to-play without a pay-to-win model.
After three years away, Chris returns to the post-apocalyptic MMORPG-FPS Fallen Earth.
Following a management shakeup at Irvine, CA-headquartered GamersFirst parent K2 Network earlier this year, the company has now merged with its subsidiary company Reloaded Productions and retired the K2 name.
K2 was founded in 2001 with a focus on free-to-play MMOs. Most recently it published games like APB: Reloaded and Fallen Earth through its GamersFirst publishing portal.
Actually sounds pretty good.
