Delve into "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II" by LucasArts, released 13 years ago today. Explore its gameplay, narrative, and lasting impact on the saga
If you haven’t played these retro(ish) Star Wars games, today is the perfect day to give them a try.
I am not a big Star Wars guy but I enjoyed Shadows of the Empire on the N64 I found it at a pawnshop one day for $20. I bought it and I still enjoy it from time to time I only own three Star Wars games in my collection Shadows of the Empire and both Force Unleashed games. I remember my grandmother would rent a game console during Xmas she grabbed the N64 and Shadows of the Empire I sat in front of the tv all the time with that game.
James writes: "It doesn’t seem too long ago that I was reminiscing about the LEGO Star Wars game which birthed a legacy in 2005. As of right now however, it’s time to celebrate a later instalment from 2011, while also taking a look at how it went slightly off-piste in terms of the gameplay and the source of its narrative. I am of course referring to LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, which is full of innovation and probably doesn’t get enough credit for the things it attempted."
I would say I am looking forward to The Old Republic the most but its the one I am least likely to play. The monthly subscription is probably $15 a month and its unlikely I will buy a game I have to pay to play.
After Galaxies, I just don't have faith behind a Star Wars MMO.
Let's hope the upcoming Star Wars games live up to expectations. What's next? A Lego Star Wars MMO? GZ
